Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Classly — including joining the waitlist or using the app — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Classly.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Classly. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

Your account

Classly uses Google Sign-In for authentication — you do not create a separate password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You may not share your account or use someone else's. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Classly to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or harm any person • Share content that is illegal, obscene, or discriminatory • Post spam, advertisements, or unsolicited promotions • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a class • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of Classly or its infrastructure • Violate any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice.

Content you post

You own the messages you send. By posting in a Classly group chat, you grant Classly a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content to the members of that class. We do not sell or use your messages for advertising or AI training.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Classly is not responsible for content posted by other users.

Google Classroom integration

Classly integrates with Google Classroom via Google's official API under a read-only scope. We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy. Classly will never post, modify, or delete content in your Google Classroom account.

Availability & changes

Classly is currently in development. We do not guarantee uptime, data durability, or that any specific feature will remain available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Disclaimer of warranties

Classly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Classly and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
